Default mufler

quick question for u all... what would it do if i took off the mufler on my stock 98 civic???? more/less power???? kill gas???? i need some help

it would be unnecessarily loud / obnoxious, and yes, you would lose more back pressure than you should stand to lose, which means a loss in power. and power is at a premium being as that your civic is stock. just dont do it. its a stupid thing to do.

what about on a turbo d16z6 (sohc vtec) ?

right now ive still got the stock cat, but ive got a resonator and a 01 civic si muffler... guessing i need to throw in this high flot cat i got and maybe re-do the muffler and piping to like 2.5 yah... any other better ideas for my setup?

Well the best exhaust for a turbo is no exhaust

word but this is my daily driver and i enjoy not getting pulled over so i figure the high flow cat (pretty much straight thru) with 2.5" piping and maybe like a borla exhaust or something


have you guys heard anything about twin loop mufflers? any good?

apexi noir comes in a 3" and looks stock and decently quiet

yes, even though i dont own a noir system, i tell everyone who's asking what kind of exhaust system to buy, to check on the noir system because the world sport sounds great, and the flat black powdercoat looks great.
