I just finished getting the old dash harness out...it was a bitch, but I got her out. I discovered that someone at one point in time had some inmdiglo gauges on this car, but they were not on when I bought it

Im contemplating not even installing them yet...I gotta take the dash out any way to install the JDM climate control.

im jealous, i want those real bad. everything i see on ebay is the jdm ones though n i dont want that. wut pisses me off is that i had bought and PAID for some EL guages a year ago. i left for bootcamp last jan n the guy said hed mail me the guages and a 94+ center console while i was away. the cockbag never sent them so i lost i think 120 bucks iirc

I paid 100 bucks for everything...

bb_one hooked me up

 

120 for the guages, harness, inverter box...everything, and the good center console. n the guy screwed me. i wish i could remeber who it was

oh...i paid 45 for the center console...and the 100 for the gauges, harness, and inverter

 

looks good, i just installed my EL's the other week i got from a junkyard for $30. :-) it was a pain in teh *** to get the harness out though. still have cuts of my hands.

 

whats so good about those clusters? they look stock. are they jdm or something? cuz mine looks exactly the same

just look at my old cluster and then look at the new one. They arent JDM or anything, just look at them. If you cant tell a difference, then you dont need to own a prelude

these guages come in both usdm and jdm(jdm would be in kph obviously). anyways, the thing thats so good about the Electro Luminescent guages is that theyre blank(like in the picture above) when the car is turned off and they come on when the power is turned on. they look like the gas/temp guage in the dash. when girls see them they take their panties off

I couldn't quite figure out how to get that dang harness out, but once I called you and I lowered those panels underneath, it was a piece of cake...

I do...especially since Im gonna remove the dash tomorrow

ive been to every parts store in my area n none of them have a helms or a haynes for the prelude...pisses me off

 

haynes dont make 1 for 4th gen IIRC. chiltons does but its accord and prelude. u can order a helms online but its like 60 bucks.
