Default b20a vtec

i have a b20a5 engine and i was wondering if a gsr head would fit on.

Yes, it is possible. If you do some searching in the Hybrid, EF, & EG forum you will find out a lot about B20vtec's.

From what I understand the 3rd gen prelude B20 is not the most popular block for making B20vtec's because the manner in which the cylinder walls is constructed is somewhat weak in comparison to the other B20's.

I heard they are completely different and pretty much nothing will fit. Could be wrong though hope so in your case.

the b20 in a prelude is way different than the other b20's. I hear the b20 lude vtec has been done but is still problematic. It would be easier and you'd have more power if you just dumped an h22 into your 3g

i am planning on making it high compression and i wanted to try and out a gsr head on it. what is the horsepower of a b20a with f22 rods and b18 pistons because i heard they are compatable

b16 head on a b20a5. Only a couple people have done it, and most of them removed the head shortly after.

IIRC you can more easily put a B18 (WHOLE ENGINE) in the bay sans doing a B20Vtec convo......the B20 Prelude |= B20 CRV

It is possible though as stated above
