Default Hey guys, got a question about swapping out for a leather interior...

I have a 00 se sedan. I found an 02 v6 with the leather interior in my local junk yard BUT the front seats have side airbags and the driverside is electric whereas my stock set up is manual with no side airbags. Can I use these seats without extensive modification? Thanks

Yeah, you sure could, my guess is either yours has a plug sitting there for the seats that may work OR just go without it and swap the rails?

If its just the rails I'll go for it then. I do have a sensor or something that plugs into my seat and when I removed my seats and disconnected it my SRS light came on, you think that'll be different or still be usuable?

Unless you have wires already there, to operate the seat and the airbag, it won't be easy. I don't think changing the rails will turn a power seat into a manual seat (maybe I'm missing something in the translation). I seriously doubt the wires are already there for the power seat and airbags.

I'm thinking you could there BLK? leave the motors and what not in for the rear and don't take the seat apart, but remove all the electrical stuff on the bottom and swap the bottom rails?

Electric Slide and up and down would be removed leaving it manual

Well I don't plan on using the side airbags at all. My main concerns are; 1) Still being able to adjust the sear, whether it be manual or electric and 2) Not turning on my srs light. Anyone know where I can find this out if no one here knows?
