94 accord non v-tec 4 cyl. had to replace main relay to get fuel pump to run. replaced distributor, rotor & cap. motor turns over and starts but dies instantly after. coil checked ok. can't keep throwing money at this problem, any ideas?

Ignition switch. Try holding the switch from going all the way back when you start it. It may just be the electrical part (don't have to change the whole thing). Here's a link for it. It may be part of a recall, check that out too. Good luck

I'm also going to vote for the ignition switch to be checked, You can use a test light at the Black/yellow wire to the coil when the key is turned on; like right after it starts and dies. check for power on that wire.

Apparently it was the distributer after all. After checking the ignition switch, which checked out alright. I took another look at the spark plug arking, very weak white colored spark. I put the battery on the charger on it for a couple of hours. The motor started right up. I cleared the history on the diagnostic & brought the car back to my daughter. I do hope that problem is resolved. I appreciate the advise as it was helpful in getting me to look at this from a fresh perspective. Thanks
