ok i have this problem when i hit 2500 rpm the car would bog hard when i would be driving on first it would bog alot and it sounds like misfire like i would go pop not loud like a Puff of Air got stuck in the exhuast and came out. Was wondering what this could be??? I have the CEL 43 its Fuel Supply System Right now i Have a Msd Pro Cap SS coil Stock Spark Plug Wires from the Depot, Obd1 B18B Ecu, Stock DX Harness Converted with the help of H-T Faqs, and Ls Obd2 intake Manifold. REALLY NEED HELP!!!! about to do autocross next Saturday and i dont want to be bogging all over the place PLEASE SOMEONE ANYONE HELP!!!!

Symptoms
Bogging at 2500 K (will bog even at dead stop juss the motor)
Has a Noise like Air got stuck and juss popped out
Wil constently do this if i hold rpm at 2500
Also Cel 43 (fuel Supply System) Comes out when im cruisin at 3500-4 on 3rd or 4th gear`
ANy Suggestions???

I was told to Put back the Stock Dizzy Stuff but what if thats not the case
What else should i do?

valve adjustment??? but the CEL 43 is coming out like it wants more gas or something what if i get a valve adjustment and same thing happens??? i sounds like a misfire or something anybody think its the spark plug wires cuz i kept the ones it came from the Warehouse i bought the motor from..

And the FUel Psi how would i check that ? and how many PSI should it be on???

bogs at 2500 k and when im going pretty fast around 4-5 k .............. i think it might be spitting (spark plug) or msd coil is bad im going back to stock to see the difference and also spark plugs even tho i replaced them 500 miles ago

 

Sorry to bring this thread back up but im curious to know if you managed to solve the problem,

i have exactly the same problem with my d16Z6

ive changed.. plugs,leads,fuel filter,lamda sensor twice.ran fuel injector cleaner through.

so did u get it sorted mate?????

hey man try changing your fuel rail that worked on mine now didi you have any problems w/ the check engine ligth

 

fuel rail. hmmm yea ill give that a go.
