I found a 1994 del sol helms manual but it doesnt say if it covers the b16 vtec version. im assuming they all do but just want to make sure. same with the crx ones, it covers si model as well am I right?

just picked up a repring for a 1990 crx, and yes, it covers the Si model. I'm assuming the Del Sol one should cover the VTEC version as well.
Did you get OG manual?

yea it has the info for b16a3 delsol.

 

and that means it is the same as the jdm b16a for the mechanical aspects of the engine/tranny am I right?

yeah most everything is the same,only little difference like wiring,distributor,etc..but as far as rebuilding the whole engine the book is perfect..has all the tq specs,clearences,patterns,etc,etc for any b16

i almost forget to add the tranny is alittle is different..90-91 is different then 92+ insied,but its still a good guide to go by reguardless

 

so if I was to use the manual to replace my clutch and flywheel it would be a little different since the jdm b16 is from an xsi, or will it be basicly the same thing?

the parts are different but the procces is the same as far as the tq specs and patterns,pilot bearings,etc are concerned...

I meant, like a real deal, original print manual. The one I got has all the same info as the real thing, but it's a reprint. Mine also doesn't have the cool color wiring schematics, but that's cool.

For an EF, with B16, I look toward the 92-93 Integ GSR, as this has a B17 VTEC. I recently learned this as I needed a starter. B17 is essentially a B16.
