Default hesitant in 1st gear

b16 in 95 hatch.

When i put the car in 1st gear...its really slow when i try to go...i have to rev to like 3000 rpm or so to get it moving..it idles around 800 or so when warmed up...i've replaced spark plugs/wires/oil change..

Mods are only jasma header/Password cf intake/apex'i ws2 catback

Is there anything that could be making it hesitant in 1st gear...keep in mind that 2nd through 5th gear is perfectly fine..thanks

Timing belt has nothing to do with it.

He meant ignition timing.

What clutch do you have?
