Hello out there! I need your help! A buddy of mine recently picked up an Lexus SC400, and he is lookin to do a soarer swap in it! He would do a 2jza80 but he has a kid and its a bit more expensive than a 1jzgte. Besides he's not trying to super build it anyway just something to have a lil fun in! I am helping him find parts he'll need 4 the swap and I convinced him smartest thing to do would be to just buy a front clip, but the thing is I dont know to many shops that have a demand 4 them so I dont where I could get 1. Thats why I am comng to u to help me out! If u know of any shops that sell soarer front clips or can get them please let me know! I'm located in so cal. The reason I post this topic in here instead of the general disscusion forum is cuz I dont have access to it since I am new (which I really dont understand why!). Thanks!

 

lol u funny man, all-motor forum, not 1jz-gte twin turbo, if i was him i would buy a front clip, and buy a 2nd gen 1jz, 1st gen is way too hard to mess with, buying a front clip will make it easy, u can just use those JDM fans, in stead of trying to find a pair that would work, and the radiator is a mess, make sure u get on that has motor, tranny, harness wire and ecu, whatever u do dont get it from Osaka, they ripped my brother off with his 1jz, try posting on supramania.com they will be more of a help, and also make sure it has cluth and flywheel, because if it doesnt both of those combined will cost u about 1000.00 dollars alone
