I can not find the source of the p1457 cel on my car. The car is a 1997 Civic CX hatch with a d16y8 swap. when i first bought the car i had a cel for code p0453, i had then solved the issue with the potentiometer trick, as that car did not come with the sensor in the gas tank. A week after the issue was solved i got the p1457 code. I can not find any vacume leaks for the life of me, however, the car had an idle surge problem which I fixed yesterday with a tune-up which also eliminates the possiblility of a vacume leak, does anybody have any clue on what the issue could be, or anybody have a link to a helms manual on how to diagnose this. Anybody with any thoughts on this please chime in.
