can i use a pm8 for my mpfi swap?

You can.... I dunno much about ecus, but I'm not sure I'd want the hf ecu. The redline on those is around 5K. I dunno if they have a fuel shutoff or not, but it might be something you want to consider. You should probably try to find an Si ecu.
