does anyone have any experiences with smogging a ctr motor??will it pass??

the motor is going into a 96 civic hatch...

 

cali smog ***** will say no

 

damnit...any suggestions?

 

register the car in another state and drive around cali w/ outta state tags like people do that lived in florida cause the car tax is cheaper..

 

Here in Florida there is no Smog Test

 

make sure all of your harness and sensors are mounted stock or make it look stock. if you dont ahve a cat get one. the shop that i went to wa spretty cool, i ahve a 1st gen b16a in the EG and the only thing he was tripping of was the map sensor(hanging) and my cat. the motor passed the emmission test. i'm pretty sure your's will pass.....

btw, they are just about the same price as ITR motor..get the ITR!
