Default 92 automatic tranny help

Its a 92 accord and the d4 light blinks on the indicator on the cluster. When you put it into drive it doesnt even move with the idle you have to press on the gas and it seems sluggish. Also shifts kinda hard i know i need to change the fluid but that wouldnt make that d4 light blink would it? I was thinking a sensor might be busted any ideas?

You can use the Blue 2 pin service check connector to get a 'flash' code on the D4 light.

I'll bet one of the solenoids is bad.

check the Light probably trouble code 6 (tp sensor) its your coolant sensor up by your thermostat, the TCU (transmission control unit) takes a sensor reading from there will make it shift erratically or not at all, its a smart car, in safe mode so that sensor being open wont screw anything up
