Well, here they are. I said I'd get some pics of it up here sooner or later. Just had to get it to my apartment. It started life as a DX D15B2 with DPFI and an auto. The pics speak for themselves. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I need some new fenders ASAP.

I also need a new exhaust but this one is just temporary.

I also need to strip and paint the valve cover and clean and paint the engine bay once I paint the whole car. The color on the car sucks (at least to me I HATE flat paint) but that's how it came. I will be painting the car metallic silver with new tail light lenses and black 17" TE37's. Eventually I want 9mm spark plug wires and Denso Iridiums and a red valve cover (maybe black wrinkle paint) with the H and 16 valve painted red. I also want to paint the engine bay black. I need new headers and a new exhaust. But this is a rough outline of the car as it sits now. New fenders, a new windshield, and some metallic silver and she'll be looking pretty damn good. Another thing, I really need the black plastic trim for the bottom of the car (under the doors and bottom of the fenders) and the wheel wells too. Anyway, let me know what you think so far. Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

 

Hey that car used to be the same color as my Hf. Looks like you have your hands full though. Its hard telling what is under that flat black.
I wouldnt go with 17s though, 16s a better size. What is wrong with your stock side skirts? Why do you need new ones? Just wondering how much did you give for the car?

 

Well, it's a long story. I had a 86 Honda Prelude Si that had alot of rusty frame damage. The frame was rusted completely through on both sides at the exact same point. Not only that but the car's metal wasn't in the greatest shape. But it was nice and ran great. It was painted calypso red. Anyway, this kid that used to work for me was moving to Texas to be with his girlfriend. He had this CRX but didn't know how to work on it himself. He snapped the timing belt in it twice because he didn't know how to adjust it once he got it on, or set the timing for that matter. To make a long story short, he gave me $1000 and this car. Seeing as how I was only going to ask $1000 for it anyway, I agreed. I love a challenge so I figured why not? Oh yeah, and BTW, I would like to get the side skirts because they are missing the small pieces that go over the front fender on the passenger side. I need to cut and weld a couple of new pieces of aluminum into the quarterpanels (very small though). This will be a track car eventually.
