Hey guys,

I drive an '86 Saab 900s. Being used to its amazingly tight turning radius, I scraped a corner of my gf's accord in a parking lot.

I want to replace the front bumper, so I start searching around the web for parts and what not. I see names like front bumper, cover, and other terms. I find a couple parts online, primed and ready to paint.

It's a 2001 Accord 4 door LX. I keep thinking replacing it will cost just as much as taking to body shop. It has other nicks too.
Basically, I was wondering what any of you might suggest as to bumpers, painting, and replacement. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm not mechanically challenged, and have access to a plethora of tools and other equipment.

i would just take it to the shop i mean you can also try the junk yard

id try a junk yard.... just find a good front end...

 

if you have a picture that would be more helpfull, but if your refering to the paited plastic section of the bumber, that is your "bumber cover" all it is is a plastic cover covering up your metal bumber. (im sure you know this).
