Default Clutch question d15

Hello, I have a 90 civic with a d15 motor, and the trans is bad, I just got a tranny from an 88 model. My question is can I use the 88 disc with the 90 pressure plate and flywheel(due to the disc being 21 spline instead of the 20 spline of the input shaft)-or would it be better to put the input shaft in from the 90 tranny(and how hard is that?). Thnaks

If you have a 88 transmission, and you would like to use a 90 Flywheel and pressure plate you will need the clutch disk from a 86-89 Accord.
