hello everyone... i searched the archives to see if anyone has done this and there seems to be no one so i must ask this question. can u use the gsr leather bottom and the 1.6 el back rest in an ek coupe? if so... will it eliminate the gap that the rear bottoms of the el would normally leave>? i foolish bought gsr leathers for my car and and i have an ek coupe which rears are 60/40 split. and not 50/50. any help would be great. thanx to all.

 

EL's have the 60/40 split back, so as far as that goes, it should fit.

 

that should fit no probelm with out the gap...my understanding is that the bottom part from teh el leaves a gap.... will the gsr bottom fit and not leave a gap?

 

now that, I'm not too sure about, someone else has to know tho.

 

anyone else know? it is a kinda good mod on teh upside if it works cuz it converts the rears to a 4 seater

Not to be a dick, but you either have a ej8 or an em1. The ek9 is the civic type r from japan. And the ej63 civic is the hatch back in america. Just to let everyone know.

 

if im not mistaken isnt canadian models known as ek's? thats wat ive known them as as well as wat everyone else calls them. dont quote me though i could be wrong.

boguht the rear el back rest part....dont have my car tho...(still in storage) will the gsr bottom fit?
