So I have cracked/ripped off my lip one too many times. I have paid to have it resprayed and I am not doing it again. I said f*** it and im just going to spray it black. What I want to know is can I wetsand spray on clear? I put 4 coats of paint and I inted to put at least that much clear. It is not as smooth as I want it to be. What suggestions, if any, do you have for me? Can it be done and look kosher is what I am mostly interested in. LEMME KNOW DIY'ers

wet sand it inbetween paint coats with very fine sand paper, and just paint ita gain and wetsand, then clean it and clear it. it sounds okay, but i havent read through all thsoe damn paint threads, if you want a real answer, search.

 

use water with 700+ grip paper.... sould be no problems.
