Default Quick Question: 4th gen. OEM front bumpers

I own a 1995 VTEC and it came with a flat black factory replacement front bumper that has some small fitment issues. Recently I sourced an OEM front in the original factory color... however it is off of an earlier model. I know the fronts will be compatible, but was wondering if honda ever modified the design? They frequently change these sorts of things in the later production years and I'd like to keep my car consistent to its year.

you'll be fine.

even jdm/usdm front bumper covers are exactly the same.

cosmetically outside, there isn't much difference between 92-96. except for nostrils and bumper lights

Some had the amber bumper lights the older ones I believe (92-93) the newer ones had clear bumperlights, I think it goes by year not sure, but the diff was the color.

92-93 had all amber turn signals
94-96 had clear ones with the amber inserts.

Thanks for the input.

What about that 'JDM' half clear half orange combination for the turn signals?

I've seen that, I always thought people just did it cause they thought it looked good, I really don't like it. But if they are JDM I guess it makes sense, after all they had one piece headlights, and side markers we don't.

Unless you got your oem wannabe bumper from Sortafit(cerifit)....honda oem should fit just perfectly.

I confess I like the orange white combination... I had read somewhere that the white part would illuminate to help light your way when making a turn. If thats true, does this require any additonal wiring?

My front bumper looks like the $80 ebay deal... fender liners peek out at the front of the wheels. Lights don't look right either.

92-93 bumper lenses, all amber. Much like the stock USDM lights but without the reflectors.

94-96 lenses, clear w/amber inserts

All 92-96 ludes, USDM and JDM, have identical front bumpers.

It looks like 92-93 front lenses with 94-96 clear side lenses.

JDM Preludes had their "intersection lights" in that location,
which are different from the US ones with the extension of the the turn signals.
the intersection lights don't blink.
I'm sure you've seen them on the JDM accord front bumpers

GtechPro...You are right but your lights on your car arent the 94-96 version.

On the 94-96 version they look like this.

odd i never knew this! my 92 always had the clear/amber combo - so i assumed that was stock for 92's - so the guy that owned the car before me must have changed them up!

on a red lude I thought all ambers looked better, so after I bought a front clip from tigerjapanese - I swapped to all amber... looks more uniform in my opinion.

The lights on my car are 94-96 JDM version (no reflectors). The ones shown on the pic you posted are 94-96 USDM (with reflectors).
