Default ITR valves

Will ITR valves, retainers, and springs be fine for an Ls/Vtec application that will only rev to 8700 rmps. I was able to get a steal on an ITR head and am in the middle of building a Ls/Vtec. I find alot of people with these setups stop making power after 8500-9000 rpms even when using Skunk2 STG 2 cams. I know that a stock ITR can take revs upwards of 9000 rpms and may have answered my own question. But I would rather here from those with expereince. I have searched and rarely start new topics as I search my *** off until I find the info I need. What most people fail to do and you can see from my start date and how many post I have made to date.

I would not recommend it. You may get away with it...

ITR valves are good for 9k+...
Springs and retainers I wouldnt go past 8400, stock redline. Its there for a reason...
I have personally ran ITR valves to 9400 rpm...Good valves!
