Default EF Hatch to Crx Front Bumper Conversion

hello everyone, i have a 90 civic hatchback, and i love the way the crx front bumper looks, especially with the rounded turn signals in the bumper. i was wondering if it was possible to do a conversion to put a crx bumper on my hatch. I was also wondering if it was possible if it would just be a straight screw on like the normal bumper. thank you for your concerns and comments.

No it will not be a direct fit. Also, there is no CRX front bumper with the wrap around turn signals(correct me if I am wrong). The JDM front bumper is the only one like that. Its not as easy as swapping bumpers. Hatchbacks have filler pieces, CRX's don't so the fenders woould have to be changed.

Knowone ever said it wasn't but IMO if you want a CRX front bumper just buy the whole car!

so if i remove the filler piece, and get a the crx bumper and fenders, what else would i have to do?

here is what im talking about when i refered to the crx bumper.

http://passwordjdm.com/uploads...0.jpg
the bumper turn signals are curved. they go past the corner of the bumper, not like my ef's bumper, with just square signals.

i like the area in between the signals and everything better then the single piece that the hatchback ones come with.

and. the Sir bumper does the same w/ the bumper lights, but, it just doesnt look as good in my opinion, and it probably costs more. plus, i want to be able to say that i did a crx bumper swap.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but those are only the SiR bumpers right? If you want that don't you have to get the whole front end conversion? Someone please tell me if I'm right or wrong.

you are right. but first thing first. i need to find out if it'll work first. i kinda figured that i needed to get a full front end conv. i just wanted to know if it was possible to make it work, w/o a bunch of customization

its all bolt on. get crx coner lights, bumper and fenders, down falll is the gap on the bottom part of the fender by the door. also i did this awhile back and was going to cut the lower part of the civic fenders and weld them on the crx part thats not there but backed out.
