maybe a stupid question but what gasket to use with type s OS .25 pistons

Default maybe a stupid question but what gasket to use with type s OS .25 pistons

is the normal oem h22 gasket sufficient or do they actually make a gasket for .25 over.

stock gaskets are actually 1mm over the bore, so the one for the h22 is 88mm , thats why i use the f23 head gasket in the f22/h22 byrid, f23=86mm bore = 87mm head gasket.

so yeah there is plenty of room for your .25 over

I did the Type S piston rebuild a few years back and it uses the stock Head gasket.

I may be wrong I always thought they were 85MM

whoops, ill fix that in my above post. .yes f23=86mm bore = 87mm bore head gasket
f22=85mm bore = 86mm bore head gasket
