Default Should I?

I got a 4-2-1 mani today from Jon D. (thanks bro!) and I am using it to replace my completely fucked up 4-1 megan racing header. It has a 2.5" collector and I was thinking about incorporating it into the 4-2-1? Should I go for it?

Just having a 3-6 inch stretch of 2.5 piping at the end of a header wont do anything.

My vote is leave it alone.

I second that notion, unless of course, you went with a larger diameter exhaust.

The 4-2-1 is the bottleneck, so there's no point in having anything larger than 2.25" after the 4-2-1's collector.

I would leave it as it is. The JDM ITR/CTR has a 4-2-1 with a 2.5" collector. Maybe you could source one of those instead.

I have a true 2.5" exhaust.

And to everyone else. Thanks for the comments. I really dont care much because I'm not going to go a N/A route, I just bought it to replace my long 4-1 cuz I didn't want to break an exhaust mani stud bottoming out.
