well i need some ideas... 97 dx coupe... bout 3 grand to spend... motor and suspension is a first... any ideas on what motor and what next?

the dx motor isnt fast, but its fun! im keepin mine for a while (ok 2 years untill i can do a swap, but its still a peppy engine)

i would start working on suspension and brakes first. keep saving and the engine will come eventually

 

i personally would spend it all under the hood, because what good will a fast motor do if you cant get your suspension to handle the power it laying down? But a swap is a must but you cant forget about suspension, its probably the most important part of a car.

 

buy stock in 3L communications. Then in 10 years buy a porsche...

 

do an ls swap they seem to be the cheepest and can get alot of power out of them.
or do suspention. it is cool going fast. but it is alot of fun when you catch up going around a turn. thats what i did. i have a cx and i cant keep up very well but get me on a turn and i think i do pretty well. just my .02
