4th Gen Seat Swap: RSX seats
Well I picked up my RSX seats yesterday, and after examining the seats and making a comparison... this isn't going to be easy.
I'd like this to be a tutorial so others can try this but I guess I'm gonna need some advice before getting the seats in my lude. The seat pans are a totally different shape and attach to the top half of the seats in an enitrely different way. Best way I can tell to do this is to hack off the rails and have them swapped. However, this will be most difficult since they are riveted and the steel hardened. Could I just have the brackets for the seat floor bolts swapped instead?

This may not help too much as it was for a 5th gen, but it gives you an idea of what will be involved.

Actually that helps a lot... and it also confirms my fears that this is indeed the way to go about installing the RSX seats into the 4th gen. Stay tuned.
I dont know how the 4th gen seats look like but what I did for my 5th gen is I took off the rivets from the RSX seats and the stock seats and welded the rivets from the stock seats to the RSX seats. Use the angle grinder to grind off the rivets.
This is the part that needs to be grinded off and welded on:
