Default F20B clearance using H22 Crower Stage 3 cams

I have F20B and using Crower stage 3 cams and would like to know if I have enough clearance between my valves and pistons especially when the V-tec kicks in. I'm using H22 Crower stage 3 cams.

thanks for the help.

thanks Jdogg. One query, how does the H22 crower stage 3 cams work with the F20b? I'm using the cams with Ferrea springs and retainers. Does the V-tec work well with these cams for this motor?

i thikn as long as you have other GOOD mods to support the f20b, they should do fine . as long as they let the motor breath well up top

I think crower3s are way too much for a bolt on f20b....**** on my h22 with an open rmf header and a 70mm tb I only really gained hp way up top.

i made pretty good power the whole way up the power band. peek was 8400-8500 and held the power all the way to 9400. Mine has plenty of breathing but its lack of comp. i think

kmaxwell -

I have an F20B in CD7 and I want to build it. Where do you get specs for all the head and block internals?

jinwoo -

are you just using all H22 valvetrain components?
