Umm, my bro lives in Temecula, which is near San Diego. He is looking for an ITR himself. I think this might be the same ITR he checked out 2 weeks ago. He wasnt happy with what he saw. He said that it had JDM front end and lots of chip marks on the front. Clean title but the owner (a girl) story didnt add up. Something about the miles not adding up right, and my bro also complained about the owner payments didnt add up. She told him something about only paying 2k in payments in a spand of 2 years. Not sure though, sorry

I did call the number listed on this car, and it was a chick. She didn't seem to know anything either. She says it doesn't have the SRS JDM steering wheel, but I showed the pics to another ITR owner and he says it does. When I asked about HID's or not, she didn't know.

Thanks for the info. Anyone else care to chime in? Paint chips and such don't really bother me at all. I've got an awesome paint and body guy here locally.

 

 

Ok, Just got done talking to my bro on the phone. He said that she bought the car for 18k 2 years ago and still owe 16k. Also, he said that she told him that the car doesnt have HID but she seem to be clueless about the car when talking to him. He asked for 16k, she denied it but said she might do 17k. Hope that helps

Yeah, that was my impression. I talked to her briefly myself and she didn't really seem to know all that much about the car. I also was told she'll take 17k for the car.

As for the financing and what she owes and all that, I'm not really sure. I did get pictures of the back of the headlights and it is non-HID, which I don't have a problem with. I can change that later. Thanks for the info man.

Already starting to sound fishy.... but hey at the very minimum its a trip to cali

 

The headlights are a give away that it doesn't have HID lights. The lines going across the projector were on pre '98 spec. The newer ones have a circle around the projector.

Maybe her first xpayments were for interest instead of principle, and thus why she owes 16k.

Not sure if this guy's is still for sale, but it looks way clean. I almost bought an E36 M3 from this guy a couple of years ago (which he also kept very clean). Too many red flags going up for the one in So Cal.

easy i live in the barracks and never go into oceanside haha i go san clemente for my stuff litte furture drive but not many marines.
