How to ID tranny if it's a R.

I tried searching and mostly found info for D tranny. I'm looking to buy a R tranny and want to know how to Identify it. I already know how to look for if it's LSD or not.

should say S80(USDM) S80 LSD(JDM)

Also on it should have the VIN type-r is DC231XXXXXXX

Some will say "J4D LSD" as well (stamped on the bell housing).
