After reading through here, and looking at some of the cool stuff you guys have put together with fiberglass (that center console was way cool!) i was inspired to try my hand at it. First major project i'd want to do is make a custom intake box for my car (k20 eg, nobody makes a nice intake box for us hybrid guys yet ).

But before i jump into that i want to start playing around with the materials and practice. I've searched and read through various threads to get a fundamental understanding on how to work with fiberglass, but what materials should i get to start out with? How do i integrate carbon fiber into the process? and is there a dumbed down tutorial somewhere for a beginner like myself?
