So i want to start working and fabricating with Fiberglass...
After reading through here, and looking at some of the cool stuff you guys have put together with fiberglass (that center console was way cool!) i was inspired to try my hand at it. First major project i'd want to do is make a custom intake box for my car (k20 eg, nobody makes a nice intake box for us hybrid guys yet
).
But before i jump into that i want to start playing around with the materials and practice. I've searched and read through various threads to get a fundamental understanding on how to work with fiberglass, but what materials should i get to start out with? How do i integrate carbon fiber into the process? and is there a dumbed down tutorial somewhere for a beginner like myself?
Thanks in advance
Ricky
