So wait.. they broke into you car at your house, took the seats and emblem and such.. left the head unit (looks like cva1005) but took its brain and left your changer. then went to your bodyshop/dealer and stole the rest of that, and the handles.. but didn't touch your engine? Thats a first.

Either way.. that blows man. Sawwie.

 

That is why I simply ask the dealer to leave my car in the garage overnight so nothing happens to it. Good thing I pass the dealer on my way home from work so I can check to see if they did or not. The way I feel about the dealer now, I could care less if the damn thing burned down now. Sorry just had to vent on my situation for a moment.

 

kinda.. the Insurance adjuster STOLE the door handles and all locks, by CUTTING the wires that lead to them!!!

"STOLE" because he didnt have the car owners permission.

 

The car was broken into in my driveway...They stole the interior (front and rear seats/door panels/hatch carpet, and center console.) They also stole the front emblem, chin spoiler, door speakers, and factory fogs.

Afterwards, I took it to the dealer to get a repair estimate...The insurance co went to the dealer and removed all the locks "for investigation"(without telling me) and left the car in the lot UNLOCKED! Then someone steals the remains of the head unit, and the cd changer, and phuks up the dash in the process.

 

This has go to be one of the most stupid acts of an adjuster I have ever heard of. Things like this make me extremely angry. They are so concerned with trying to prove you wrong that they forget to do their damn job and as a result cause further damage to your car as well as themselves. I would like for formally induct this idiot into the halls of the "most stupidest adjuster in the history of mankind." An act of this nature cannot go unpunished. This guy deserves to pay for his carelessness.

Damn, sorry to hear that. Sounds like big-time negligence on the Insurance company's part. They are probably trying to WEASEL their way out of the responsibility. I hope you win bigtime. Good luck and keep us posted.
