Here's what you want to do. Disconnect your axle-back section from the existing piping. Get a flange and a 90-degree bend from a parts store or muffler shop and weld them together as a turndown pipe. Attach that turndown to the axleback flange on your existing piping and have at it.

I had to do this out of necessity for a while. It's loud as hell

The problem is the exhaust will get trapped by your rear bumper and waft into the cabin. Hence the point of the turndown. I learned the hard way

Nice ninja edit CO2 = carbon dioxide. CO = carbon monoxide.

Neither is great, but the latter is what kills you.

thats an easy one, edelbrock header with racing b-pipe, totally eliminates your exhuast to just a 3ft piece of 3" pipe and i have one for sale. here are some pics:

i garentee this is as loud as they come, no muffler, no resonator, no cat, just straight header, the only way to get it louder is run no header at all.

Open head: melting radiators since 1894. The fire looks cool though...for ten seconds before it becomes scary.

I installed some DC Headers in my 97 accord and drove it down the street to the muffler shop, **** was loud as hell and i was only doing about 10mph max because everyone was turning to see what the hell was making such of a loud and annoying sound. Driving it open header any faster than that would be insane. To tell you the truth, it was kinda emberassing, lol.

I'm thinking you need some open header with a megaphone duct-taped to it.
