i basically just filled in the recessed areas with blue china marker/grease pencil by markin over and over it again till it was a blue mess, then get a terry towel and rub it off and ispect your work that theres no air bubbles in it, at any rate you are going to have to use different cloths liek grits of sandpaper to get the excess off in combonation with any degreaser (i used scrubbing bubbles cleaner cuz it was the first thing at hand but ive also used alcohol and degreasers...) for the intermediate stage of excess removal you can use a soft old toothbrush w/ degreaser or a tshirt, you should only have a few spots left over, you can get those out with your finger nails lightly, for the final stage spray the key with degreaser and rub it smooth under runnig water and then with degreaser and runnig water with fingertips...

dry the key and it will look like hell, no worry! put some tire shine on it and it will probably feel a little greasy for a few hours but it will not be sticky, there you go!
