new tires
time for some new tires...i want some nice performance tires (low pro's preferably) to fit the stock prelude rims on my 92 for a decent price. just wondering some suggestions and the size of the tires that i need...
you need to read up on some wheel and tire basics
you can't get "low pros" without increasing the wheel size or throwing off your speedometer and odometer.
stick with stock size 205/55/15.....if you ever change your wheel size tirerack also has a plus-size tire guide to help you keep the same overall diameter
you can search that size on tirerack.com
here are some suggestions if you are lazy...
-Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2
-BFG KDW2
-Yokohama ES100
-BFG g-froce sport
those are all offered in 205/55/15 on tirerack.com

well yeah those are "suggestions," not good ones, but they are suggestions
the eagle f1 gs-d3 is only offered in 195/50/15 which is not even close to stock.....to use that tire he would need a bigger rim for the 205/50/16 etc.
BFG Traction TA is a good all season tire, i have them on my stock wheels....but not the best for performance
the kuhmo and falken are performance on a budget......tires are one of the most important things on a car because they affect so many aspects.......i will never understand why people choose to spend more on rims and less on tires

Same.
I couldn't care less about what my rims look like as long as they have good tires on them.

everyone will tell you that es100's blow, unless they dont care what they run on
i believe the spt kicks the kdws *** and still is cheaper by a wide margin
potenzas
pay to play
but the spt is the best bang for the buck as far as performance and treadwear
