hey guys i have a b18c gsr motor that i just got back from the machine shop with JE 12.5:1 comp ratio pistons and eagle h-beam rods complete engine assembly was balanced now i need to decide what cams to go with i have a b16 head and i was torn between toda spec c's and buddy club spec 4's if ne one can help me out that would be awesome. suggestions are welcome.

 

Usually you decide on application, street, race or whatever. RPM's you want to run. Then have the head and compression match the cam choice. Why are you doing this ***-backwards?

 

i want to run it on the street and maintain somewhat of a daily driver. but i want the option to take it to the track and just run good numbers. i didnt know that was an *** backwards way to do a build. im looking for something thats going to get me good numbers and still be driveable. i had all the stuff for the bottom end at my house it has been sitting her for about 3 months now including the gsr bottom end and the b16 head i had just recently decided to have everything put together. i was going to run the buddy club spec 4 cams until i drove my buddys itr with toda spec c's. all im looking for is a push so to speak in the right direction camshift wise. maybe u have other suggestions besides the 2 brands i named thats what im looking for.
