Default Wiring a tach into a DX EF w/b16a 5 speed

I have searched and got lots of results, but none specific to this car. I know how to wire the power, ground, and ignition, but how do I actually get the signal from the distributor?

So cut into the blue wire and get one of those splitter thingies so the blue wire stays in 1 piece but I can run a wire off of it? Please be a little more specific.

dont bother running a wire all the way from your distributor.. all models have the blue wire for the tach in the cluster plug..
