Default Quick Engine Question!!!

Just curious, my car is a 1991 CRX automatic. What engine comes in that car? Its not an Si or HF. The car has a sohc 16v engine and I believe its a 1.5. How much hp and torque does it have and what is the engine code, thank you

you shouldnt need the engine code and power numbers to figure out some stuff. You should realize real quick like that a swap is needed.

and i cant imagine an auto crx, i never been in one. I know my old HF rex was stick and i was being passed by mopeds.

Its not as bad as you would think, I am actually thinking about supercharging it and making it a sleeper. I live near king motorsports and was talking to the guys there and they told me they could make about 175whp and about 145tq, thats not too shabby, and it would be funny to beat on b16s that are stick, anyway, i know it might be stupid but I still want to do it.

Get rid of that auto.... I'm seeing problems in your boosted future with an automatic. Or I'm just paranoid. Those old four-speeds are pretty damn tough.

You'll make more power with a turbo.

Wow you should really really not put a damn penny into an AUTO crx. Sell it to an old lady or stupid 16 year old and buy a 5 speed DX or Si.
