I know it might sound ricey or ugly but has this been done? I am debating whether to mount a RSX front clip or a JDM DC front clip on my EG. can someone give me insight on whether this has been done? pics would help. thanks

 

Its probably been done, and it HAS been made fun of. Why dont you not put a jdm dc front clip on either and get that motor out if it and drop it in.

 

WHY????? DC has been done and looks clean but the RSX ugly

 

i like the jdm dc on the eg, i saw a very clean one on superstreetonline.com.

yes it has been done.....actually....our shop out here in Arizona does that type of converting and fabricating.....we have many like that coming through our shop.....if you would like more information don't hesitate to contact me.....through PM....

That might look a little better, since the body styling between a 7th gen coupe and an rsx are similar. Only conversion I've considered might look decent.
Besides, the OE front on 7th gen coupes look fine to me.

 

whenever i see a dc front clip on a car other than a dc they look like accords not very unique

 

Ok ricey boy,you made 2 threads asking for a a picture of a hatch with RSX front end and a thread asking for a picture of RSX tailights.
It does not look good.Waste of money when you could of gotten something way more useful.
People dont do this stuff anymore.Heres some toughts:



^^Supras are hot and so are hatches,put them together,not so much(remember borat at dinner?).





^^^How much did this guy spend on making this car look strange and slower with all the bondo?Im sure he could of have used it to get a nice set of rims,I/H/E or even a turbo kit!Not to mention its custom so it doesnt sit "flush".

^^^IMO this tailight conversion doesnt even look that bad but how much did he spend on it?What about the perfectly good OEM tails?Again,could of used it to get his girlfriend a red thong but nooo he wanted that instead.Think balance.Its all about balance.Dont put 10k on your engine and leave the body full of rust and stock 14 inch tires with no grip. Neither spend 10k on bondo and have your grandma pass you on the highway.

My point is any conversion is a bad idea,they dont look good and if they did,they would be coming with them from the factory.Stay away!

I'd say go ahead with the RSX, most users on Honda-Tech are gonna put down any car that doesnt come straight off the assembly line from Japan, but if you just went with the trends what would be the point of having a car? so it could be the same as any other JDM junkie? Just be original with your **** man, its hella tight whenever someone tries to do something different and go against th grain, even if it doesn't look too good

I don't know how many minutes of fathoming thought I've spent watching an integra approach me and watching an Eg hatch leave in my rear view. It's dissettling.

Integra front engs belong on integras. There's a reason they don't look right. BECAUSE THEY AREN'T!!!
