Which would be better a LS VTEC or a built up B18A1? I never see anything like this it's always about LS VTEC or B16. Let me know thanks.

Have you thought about a K series swap.

a full b18a or b18b would probably be a bit more reliable...so if thats what ur looking for, than yea.

 

the b18b1 has more hp 140 and the b18a1 has like 130 almost a s a new d16 ha.

I have thought about a K swap but I don't have enough money for that. Just something fairly quick and pretty reliable. I'm told if it's built right a LS VTEC can put out about 200HP. If I had a fully built B18A1 how much do you think it will probably put out or would it just be around stock. Thanks for all the input and sorry for the dumb questions

 

What is quick to you?? 11's, 12's 13's 14's 15's

A zippy combo is a LS engine with a b16 tranny..
Fully built as in NA, or Turbo built??

What times are you trying to achieve or what type of horsepower are you wanting to put down? &lt;----- W/o this we can't help you very much..
