ok let me see where should i begin. well i have a ek with 97 ls turbo running 10lbs internal is stock with 99-00 b16 tranny.
well before i put the turbo on i had problems with the iacv and the way how it idles. it was still the same but recently my car sputtered and it died out on me. i it blew a fuse in the engine bay fuse box. its the ecu fuse so i know its not mechanical problem but its a electrical problem. so i checked all my wires and then i saw a wire that got pinch in so i rewire that and secured it so it wouldnt be pinch in anymore. well so i thought i fix the problem but i took it for a test drive just a lil while ago and i was driving normal it was ok but when i hit 3500 it sputtered and jerked. i had the cel on while driving normal but when i hit 3500 the cel turned off and turned back on after 10 seconds or so. well right now i do not know what the hell is happening. so if anyone knows please help me out thanks

 

whats the code? did you ever fix the iac problem? start there first you probably have multiple problems check the code first.

 

well i just checked the cel and its throwing a code 8 and code 14
code 8 is tdc sensor- i have no clue what it is
code 14 is iacv

 

8 is tdc sensor at the distributor
you may have skipped a tooth

 

so what does that mean
what do i have to do to fix it

 

hey i have just change out the dizzy on my motor and the problem is still there. i dont know what else to do the code 8 is still there..anyone know what else to do
