Default Seats: S2000 vs del Sol (Re: sliders and mounting)

Does anyone with an s2000 have any idea how close the mounting holes are to the del Sol? I know they mount in a similar fashion compared to Civics and Integras, I am curious how close the holes are...

Or, does anyone with an s2000 feel like measuring the distance between the bolts front and rear, then side to side?

Excuse me? I'm guessing if I PM a random member asking for seat bolt measurements, I'll probably get no where fast. This has nothing to do with stealing S2000 seats, all I want to know is if s2000 sliders are closer to the del Sol than an EG6 or DC2.

How is that a bad question?

Yo' Hater! I've got the S2000 seats in my sol.. I'm not sure about the distance between holes or anything but if you want a direct bolt in you'll have to do a little work... I'm not sure how others fit anything other then a del sol seat in their sol..

The del sol seat bracket holes are different then everything else... I did a write up somewhere.. I'll try to find it...

Oh are you gonna be at the Del Sol invasion this year?

It fits if you swap the seat pan and the rail/slider assembly. There's already a DIY thread here somewhere.

Damn it!!! I made up the DIY on my old website and now it's gone.. I'm sorry... But yeah you would need to do a pan swap for a direct bolt in...

The plan is that I have two Mugen S1 seats, and EG sliders which of course are not correct for the del Sol. I'd like to see if the Mugen s2000 sliders fit better than the EG ones do. All I really need are the dimensions of the s2000 OEM sliders attached to the seats to know how close they are to the del Sol compared to the OEM mounting brackets... I just need OEM measurements, that's it... I am not installing S2000 seats.

Yeppers, I just want to start with the closest possible option.

You'd have to modify the Mugen rail where it bolts into the car. Tab/flange angles are different. Don't hate on Hater. I ninja'd him just to make sure.

lol thanks

Knowing the dimensions helps me know how much modification is necessary to which slider set... Currently the EG sliders sit at OEM height, but the outer slider is WAY off, by an almost unmodifiable amount. If the S2000 sliders were closer, I may be able to sit the seat lower and do less modification.

Use the Del Slo rail/slider, EG seat pan, and S2k seat cushion/frame.

Not installing S2000 seats, I'm installing Mugen S1 seats.

No one makes del Sol specific seat sliders or rails.

Either way I need to modify the sliders and rails, I would just like to not chop apart $400 sets of rails to reweld the mounting points if I can prevent it.

I'm not sure what those seats look like... But can you not use Del sol brackets and sliders?

Oh and if you need S2000 rails then let me know... Cause' I think I have a set...

Mugen S1 racing bucket seats, they are like sitting inside a warm vagina.

If I do need them I'll holler, I'm thinking at this point I may try to use Bride rails since it appears they make rails for the del Sol specifically.
