Front window damaged
I have a 2001 Accord 2dr. Someone bashed my front window and now I have to get it replaced. My question is, is it hard to install a front window by yourself? Or should I get it professionally installed? I tried searching by all came up was the side windows. Thanks.
Ask the glass shops for the price of the windshield installed, and by itself (not installed). It is possible to do yourself but I wouldn't do it on that new of a car.
As for how it's done... Remove the trim. Get something like piano wire and thread it through the gunk holding the windshield on. With somebody on the inside and somebody on the outside, run the wire around the windshield, then pop the glass out from the inside using your feet. Clean the remaining gunk, put new gunk down. Put down new windshield, press it in. Replace trim. I've done this before on an old car - it's not rocket science but on that new of a car, if the price isn't that much, I would just pay somebody to do it.

Thanks alot, if I do end up doing it will this will help me alot. The prices are kind of high for those places I looked. Mostly around 300 for window and labor. So there might be a 50/50 chance I might do it myself. I'm not entirely sure yet.
