it was my first try ever

i contacted the buyer multiple times and told him i would replace the final collector with my newest one, fix the leak(which is the only problem remaining, since he fixed the clearance issues he told me)
he was not interested in this, told me he'd try to sell it, and then finally stopped replying to me.

and he gave me dynos, which showed consistant gains throughout. top horsepower wasnt a big gain at all, but thats not whats most important to me.
also remember it was the first header i ever made.

thats all. so think what you want, and trash whatever you feel, but theres no way hardly any of you could do better, so im learning as i go.

i didnt expect, nor should anyone, that the prototype of anything will be perfect.

i wasnt trying to outdo randy or dave here, and i didnt make the guy buy it.
he wanted to test it for me and i told him it was my first one ever.
i later learned that he thought since i sold rage headers i must be making them too, lol.
i also only charged him a tiny bit over my cost for everything, so i didnt even make hardly anything on it.

ill be making some more this summer, and those will be much better since i learned a lot with this. you can hate all you want, it doesnt really bother me, i wasnt trying to turn into a professional overnight. everyone has a slow start, most just dont have a ton of judgemental people after them.

lastly, to those judging my welding:
there is full penetration, and i dont see how you can even critique anything from some pictures.
welding thin tubing butt welds is more difficult than anything else to me, which is why they welds dont look perfect like everyone expects. also mild welds hardly ever look as good as stainless or chromoly, so keep it in perspective. ive gotten the technique here down better so the next one will look much better.

the guy paid $500 for the header.

 

Okay. Get a $500 refund.

So if it didn't pass your visual inspection then why even bother installing.

 

because I had doubts that this header will outperform the stock H22 header, and I wanted to show Derek that his header didn't come out that good as he thought and I promised I'd dyno it. I thought when Derek will see so many wrong things on this header it will be easier to claim a refund or header that would at least fit, not leak and outperform the stock one. Unfortunatly he has no Idea how to run a bussiness and prefers his reputation be destroyed instead giving me at least some rufund or fixed product.

 

That header is sad. Unfortunately, ebay is better.
