I currently am running Neuspeed Race springs and Koni Yellows. I want some adjustablility, so what coilovers go best with Koni Yellows? I have heard that Ground Controls don't work. Is that correct?

i have ground controls and yes they do work. you need to order an adapter when you buy them. why dont you ust adjust the height with the shocks?

 

GC's are great with Konis. Actually, they are probably the best combo to go with.

 

I have adjusted the height by changing the perches of the Koni's, but that takes more time than a coilover would. So Ground Controls and Koni Yellows work as long as you get an adapter eh?

 

This is a totally newbie question that Im embarrased to ask but whats the difference between coilovers and shocks. I know you can buy adjustable shocks to adjust rebound and firmness, and I think coilovers simply adjust the spring height to raise lower the car. But then all the pics I see of coilovers show the coilover with springs. Does that mean the coilovers replace the shocks? Then why is this kid asking what coilovers to get with Koni Yellows (which are shocks)? Im totally confused.

And are shocks the same things as struts?

 

I have Konis and Skunk2s and they work great. I am pleased with this combo
