New front tires and front pads and rotors replaced 6 months ago, plenty of life left

Mechnically the car is excellent. Engine purrs and the transmission shifts smooth. However, there is a problem with the windsheild wipers. They do not work correctly on "intermittent" and they do not park themselves when you shut them off. Its nothing that would prevent you from driving the car or even passing inspection, it is simply and inconvienience and I have never attempted to have it fixed. Also, the passenger side mirror is broken.
