Default Seat Heaters don't work in 2007 CR-V

Has anyone had problems with seat heaters in their CR-V? (or other model?)

Mine take a long time to heat up (15-20 minutes) and when they are heated up, I'm not sure if they are actually working or if it is my own body heat that is making the seat warm.

I went to my dealership and called Honda Customer Relations and they both brushed me off, saying that it isn't an issue.

I know I'm not crazy because the seat heaters in my previous cars (Saab and VW) gave noticable heat.

Were do I go from here???
Any suggestions are welcome!

Turn the car and seat heaters on but don't sit in the seats (to remove body heat from the equation). You should be able to feel the heat with your hand in a short time. Keep in mind that the passenger side seatback will NOT be warm as there is no heating element in it due to the OPDS system for the passenger airbag. I've also heard (but not confirmed) that Honda seat heaters are not as powerful as some other makes but I can definitely feel them when they're on in my Ridgeline.

In any case, you should not accept being "brushed off" by your dealer. Demand to speak with the service manager and if you don't get a satisfactory reply work your way up from there. This isn't a big deal and they should have no problem checking it out for you.
