Accord stalls before 2K
i have a 1992 accord with an f22 motor all stock. the accord runs on two cylinders before it hits 2000rpms. you can pull out the spark plugs at idle on numbers 1 and 2 and it makes no diffrence. but after 2000rpm when reving up and holding throtle above 2K and u pull the wires out it makes a diffrence then. i changed the distributor, main relay, fuel injectors, spark plugs, spark plug wires, all off of a running accord and none of those made any diffrence whut so ever. i have no idea what it could be. also did a compression check... all cylinders did well on compresion check, im stumped. help me out please! throws a coolant temp sensor code.
You could check things out while the engine runs on two cylinders: do you have spark and do you have fuel on the lazy cylinders and continue from there.
How are your filters -- fuel and air?
