Is that $9500 CAD? If so then it's about $8100 USD. Still pretty steep but looks very clean. Good luck

Hmmmm. Pricey. Keep in mind that there have been several R's including my old one, that have sold in the 10K to 13K range U.S. with clean titles and drivable.

that is indeed pricey, for shell only. Iregardless if its in US or Canada. IMHO its worth about $4-6k at max. It is a salvage title vehicle for one, which is a pita in alot of states and provinces to insure. A swap is about $4000-4500 and seats are in $500-1000 range these are only required to get it to stock state and be useable, and accounts for 1/2 of the price of the vehicle. Three, its a black ITR not CW. Black is not most sought after as far as an ITR, being a 2000 model which is the middle of production, its not one thats going to be that 'collector' car either!

BTW. A clean title ITR can be had for $11-14k US, without any problems.

you should trade your black rims for gunmetals, trade your red seats for black ones plus cash and then you probably shouldnt have any problem selling it at 7k us

You all think i bought this car for like 500 bucks or something. For all you US people, it may seem alot, but for a guy in Canada importing a car from US and to get one and put it back to stock, its not cheap, actually its a good price for a CDN guying looking for a Black R.

How much is a 2000 ITR theft recovery on an average? and how much does it cost to put it all back together? Find me some links as I like to know.

To me, salavage title (theft recovery) dont mean shiet, cause i konw what the car is all about, the history. Its a Type R, its clean, and its on the road. If I am asking for a full type R price, thats a different story.

Im not in a rush to sell, but if you guys think im gonna let it go for 4g's, thats Nuts! I rather part it out and throw the shell in the garbage.

If someone has a Type R NOW for sale savlage for 4g's, I will buy another one on the spot and import it in Canada. (complete like the one I have), Send me some links people.

no offense to you it might not mean **** but to insurance companys and alotttt!! of ITR owners it is alot a salvage title will never ever be more then a clean title if so it better have a **** load of goodies that you cant ever get with it. i had a 97 with 76k got for 9k salvage 200 should be at about the same now a days without a motor you seriously have to drop it about 2 maybe 3g because to get a new motor swap is about that much. but since your not in a hurry to sale no offense have fun finding a buyer for that price plus importing to canada isnt that hard my sister just moved there and it didnt cost that much to have 3 vechiles changed over.

I think the price is more than a little high.......I have bought two theft recovered R and payed no more than 4k. One had no front sheet metal and the other was missing suspension. They took about 13k to rebuild (2yrs ago). Good luck.

i'm sure you put some time and effort and getting it up to canada, and for a canadian it may be worth it to have a black one.. in the US I think it's quite a bit different.. personally, I've bought 3 ITR shells - all with clean titles - and never paid more than $4500 for one. most were in about the same state as yours, although yours has a bit better paint based on the pics..

good luck with your sale!
