Default INTEGRA or CRX : Which car should I put my money into?

I have a

1994 Acura Integra ls

and a

1988 Honda Crx Si

I also have a 96 gsr engine.

My question is, which car should I put the engine in? Taking into consideration the cost and amount of work required to upgrade.

I also plan to continue upgrading the car and I hear there is a limit on the crx platform that the acura can surpass easily.

What is this limit? You can still swap damn near any honda engine under the sun into either chassis. The CRX is still lighter though.

it all depends on your style. The CRX will definetly be faster (lighter) but we can all agree the integra will look better (except for very few people). Its just a matter of style for your own satisfaction.... would you rather go faster and not look as good? or look better and go a little slower? its all up to you, maybe you think the CRX looks better then the integra..in that case go with the CRX. Its not really the car that has limit's.. its the engine you put in and from my experiences you will be very satisfied with a moded gsr engine in either car. GL with your pick!

If it was me i'd put it in the 94 teg.

well I agree with StreetRac3r... personally I'm one of those few people who like crx better ) I'm in love with that design, I like the 91 interior better but overall, 2gen crx is great with a right engine in it....
it's all about your individual taste...
and crx has no limit, it's limitless... lol some ppl's imagination might be ))
peace

im a little biast on the crx side having owned 4 of them lol. the 88 year has been my favorite due to the passive rear suspension. The 3rd gen integra looks very pretty in my opinion and has r134a ac but will not handle for **** compared to the crx. but you know its all in what you want to do. daily driver get the 3rd gen integra a real race car get the crx simple as that

I'm with CheeseWedge on this one. For a dd, put it in the Integra. For a great autox car, put it in the CRX. But then again, I'm partial to the even lighter 1g CRX.

I like crx's and i like integras. I'd go with the rex tho. it's not as good looking interior wise. but who cares. i don't. but this is me talking... i'm 20/single/ and a car guy. if u have a gf, then use the rex. more space in the back for boom boom. lol.

I like the rex option better

if you don't have kids or need a back seat.
