stock side/lip
I have been looking for the right s2000 for a while and have found one that is very close to what I want. My question is: it has the OEM side lip (triangles in front of the rear tires) and I was woundering if they can ever be removed without to much repair? I never intendid on having those on the car, but since it is just what I am looking for otherwise I wanted to chech my options.
Thanks
Thanks
3m double side tape will do. no need for drilling. but if you do decide to go the drill route, and you grow tired of it, you can take them off and use the oem bumper plugs where the holes were drilled and it looks fine.

don't just tape that thing on, first it's like 400 bucks
and second if you are lower you can scrape that thing more often than you do with a front lip, ask anyone with a side strake and they can tell you they been there. you don't want to to get loose and left 200 bucks at the parking lot entrance, do you?
i have a set and you just can't get out of tricky parking lot without scraping it(LA road ftl)

so you have found a car that already has them installed.......correct?
if you remove them, and they were installed properly...... you will have holes in the body from the installation......
you may be able to find a plug of some sort to fill the holes to close them up....
otherwise, i would say leave the side strakes on, or find another car that does not have them installed if you do not like them......

What color are they? Sell them to me, thats your solution. Then find some body plugs.
