yep i got the plastic one over the metal one because it feels more consistant with temperature. The metal ones are either too cold or get too hot.

well i got my spoon **** 2 yrs. ago and its definitely not plastic, i can guarantee its metal. when i first saw my friends black duracon **** i thought it was a fake..i think the full metal black shift **** is a lot better looking than the plastic..

I have a silver metal one and have no problems with it getting too hot in the deep south. It does get warm but not too hot to touch.
